You can vote using a web or mobile wallet, a desktop or hardware wallet, or as a solo stacker. Click the button for your preferred voting method to see detailed instructions.

💡 Using Multiple Wallets or Accounts?
We understand many community members hold STX and do Stacking across multiple wallets or accounts. If you have STX stacked or unstacked in other wallets or addresses, you can repeat the process and vote from each one.

Go to the Voting Page
  • When voting is open, visit https://stx.eco.
  • Find the proposal you want to vote on and click ‘CAST YOUR VOTE’.

Connect Your Wallet
  • Open your Bitcoin wallet.
  • Click ‘Connect Wallet’ at the top of the page.
  • Select the account you use for stacking (even if you only have one account, you still need to select it).

Vote and Confirm
  • Choose ‘YES’ or ‘NO’ to cast your vote.
  • This will send 1 uSTX (0.000001 STX) to the voting address, plus a small Stacks network fee.
  • A confirmation window will appear—click ‘Confirm’ to submit your vote.

Note:
Make sure you use the wallet/account where you receive your stacking rewards.
The small transaction helps verify your STX balance so your vote can be counted correctly.
Web + Mobile Wallet Voting

  • Find the proposal you want to vote on.
  • Click ‘CAST YOUR VOTE’ for that proposal.

Open Your Wallet

Send Your Vote
  • Decide how you want to vote:
  • To vote YES: Send 1 uSTX (0.000001 STX) to the VOTE YES Stacks address shown on https://stx.eco.
  • To vote NO: Send 1 uSTX (0.000001 STX) to the VOTE NO Stacks address shown on https://stx.eco.
  • Double-check that you are sending from the same wallet address where you receive your BTC stacking rewards.
  • You will also need to pay a small Stacks network fee for the transaction.

Confirm and Submit
  • Review the transaction details carefully.
  • Sign and submit the transaction when prompted by your wallet.

Important:
Always use the wallet/account that receives your BTC stacking rewards to send your vote.
The small on-chain Stacks transaction allows your STX balance (both stacked and unstacked) to be verified so your vote is counted correctly

Solo Stacking Voting
Liquid Staking Voting
If you hold a liquid staking token (like stSTX, stSTXbtc, or LiSTX), your ability to vote depends on your staking provider.

Some providers may host their own votes to let users signal how they want their tokens to be used in governance. Others may not.

👉 Check with your staking provider to see if they support voting. For example: StackingDAO will host a vote at app.stackingdao.com

If you also hold STX directly in your own wallet (e.g. Leather, Xverse), you can vote at stx.eco regardless of your staking provider.
Approval Thresholds
To activate this SIP, the following voting conditions must be met:

  • At least 80 million stacked STX must be allocated to voting
  • At least 80% of all stacked STX must be in favor of the proposal
