How it helps
Funding from members allows us to deliver in key areas for the open-source Stacks network. We typically focus on public infrastructure and other places where there are network-wide needs. We've started, funded, and/or supported many of programs and efforts that you know and love within the Stacks Ecosystem.

We provide core public network contributions and ensure there are fair processes the community can use to self-govern.
- Our team leads major areas of Research and Development on the public Stacks Blockchain and employs blockchain developers that work solely on public infrastructure.
- We support community-wide governance processes, including Stacks Improvement Proposals, CABs, & Working Groups.
- We facilitate improving public network security and fund the Stacks Immunefi bug bounty program.
- We play a critical role in communicating technology upgrades, including implementation and integration support for exchanges, API providers, and more.
We bootstrap network utility and work to bring experts and builders to the ecosystem in key areas.
- Support innovators and community endeavors in our missions through the Stacks Grant program.
- Support the Stacks Residents program which supplies experts for the ecosystem in high-impact areas.
- Build local communities through the Stacks Chapters program.
- Grant funds for non-commercial but essential tools and services for the open-source community.

- Facilitate network relationship building and events for the community, including the annual global summit.
- Collate ecosystem feedback and drive community technology cooperation.
- Advise and connect with entrepreneurs to build on Bitcoin.
- Fuel growth & promote ecosystem investment through support of programs such as the Stacks Accelerator and Web3 Startup Lab.
- Incentivize moderators and other community leaders who maintain properties such as stacks.co, the Stacks Forum, Telegram, Discord, and many more.
We break down barriers for open-source builders and educate individuals and organizations so they can serve the ecosystem.
- Build mentorship programs for Web3 innovators and creators such as Clarity Universe and the Mintery to bring new talent to the ecosystem on a regular basis.
- We educate agencies and organizations about Stacks so they can provide services, such as smart contract auditing, and other specialty services to builders.
- Support collaboration and integration with other Web3 ecosystems.
- Publish educational content for developers.
- Connect and support infrastructure providers such as exchanges, wallets, custodians, and other key ecosystem partners.
