Signers Approves Temporary Schema Simplification
Last week saw the approval of both SIP-027, an improvement to multi sig support on Stacks, as well as the approval of SIP-025, where Signers unanimously approved the temporary schema simplification proposal with a combined voting power of 167,229,700 STX.
SIP-025, proposed by core developers and an active Signer (thank you to @Crypt0Jan at Alum Labs) and then further refined through Signer feedback, focuses on temporarily simplifying the threshold signature scheme for Signers under Nakamoto.

What is SIP-025?
SIP-025 is a "rider" SIP, meaning it serves as an addendum to the previously accepted SIP-021. SIP-021 covers the significant architectural shift to the Stacks blockchain, aiming to enhance block production speed and reliability, otherwise known as Nakamoto. SIP-025 proposes a short-term change to one specific aspect: the signature generation schema. For more information on this SIP, refer to this post.
