This collaboration will advance the global reach of Bitcoin-secured applications and empower the next generation of developers building on Bitcoin across the Middle East and Asia.

The global Web3 landscape is evolving quickly, and some of the most exciting developer activity is happening outside traditional markets. The Middle East and Asia are emerging as dynamic hubs of innovation — brimming with talent, curiosity, and ambition.

Through this collaboration, Rise In and leaders from the Stacks ecosystem will focus on activating these regions by:

• Providing localized technical education and resources
• Supporting developer journeys from beginner to experienced builder
• Connecting talented builders to funding, mentorship, and real-world use cases

Stacks was listed as the seventh fastest growing developer ecosystem in Electric Capital’s 2024 developer report. By doubling down on foundational partnerships and region-specific programming, the community can further engage and grow its developer base as Stacks continues to establish its position as the leading Bitcoin layer 2, introducing new opportunities for Bitcoin builders around the world.

This new initiative aims to:

• Reach thousands of developers in new regions through localized onboarding programs, workshops, and partner integrations
• Onboard hundreds of developers into Stacks Ascent, a high-touch program designed to guide builders from their first smart contract to launching full-scale apps
• Retain high-quality developers in the Stacks ecosystem, providing long-term growth with support from ecosystem partners like Hiro and Trust Machines.
