Currently Awarded Grants
Hey Stackers, as the push to bring SIP-031 resources to the ecosystem carries on, we’re bringing you interim grant options. These opportunities serve as a bridge to the Stacks Endowment rolling out a comprehensive program in partnership with the broader community.
- High TVL Grants (Closed, awarded)We’re working directly with the top builders in the ecosystem to address their most pressing needs, focusing on teams with greater than $5m in TVL. While TVL isn’t the only indicator of importance or success, the growth of these applications has a significant and disproportionate impact on the perceived health of the entire ecosystem.
- Open-Ended Grants (Closed, awarded)This interim program will operate with a strong preference toward known Stacks builders that have indicators of traction or demand. Not only is this is intended to be a recognition of their commitment, it is a de-risked bet on known quantities with the assumption these grants are more likely to be impactful.
- DeGrants (Awards expected soon)The Stacks Decentralized Grants (DeGrants) program empowers the community to decide what gets funded, driving growth and innovation across the ecosystem. This cohort will allocate $100k in funding to projects that push Stacks forward.
Grant & Bounty Programs
We offer support to builders in a variety of ways. The two primary starting points are our Code4STX program, accessible to all levels, while Stacks Ascent prioritizes those building companies.
Immunefi is the leading bug bounty and security services platform for DeFi projects and decentralized networks. Together, we offer a bounty program covering the Stacks blockchain.
On a case-by-case basis, the Stacks Foundation offers delegations to validators interested in onboarding to the Stacks network as a Signer.
New Critical Bounties are expected in April 2025. As the ongoing community and builder roadmapping process wraps up, Critical Bounties aligned to those priorities will be opened.
We are not accepting applications for new Residents at this time. Open positions throughout the ecosystem can be found on stacks.co.
Community & Ecosystem Programs
A initiative with $1m in funding from Bitcoin L2 Labs and led by the Clarity WG that funds security efforts in the Stacks ecosystem.
DeGrants is a community-led initiative where community members dole out grants for efforts they deem important or interesting.
