Nakamoto Activation Update: Successful Primary Testnet Hard Fork, Mainnet Next
Stackers, another milestone has just been passed, as the Primary Testnet has been successfully hard-forked and is running the full Nakamoto release. This was the final ‘dress rehearsal’ before a mainnet hard fork and is going according to plan.
What's next?
The successful hard fork of Primary Testnet means the core devs are looking ahead to selecting the mainnet hard fork block. They expect to make the selection next week, after observing stable behavior on the Primary Testnet for at least 5 consecutive days.

In the meantime, various teams and contributors will be hammering the testnet with transactions and activity as testing continues.
