More Validation for Bitcoin Builders: Industry Leading Signers Join Stacks
by Stacks Foundation team on March 5, 2024
Hey Stackers, as we continue to prepare for the upcoming Nakamoto rollout, we're thrilled to announce that 8 new Signers have committed to support the Stacks layer. These new Signers represent industry leaders including Blockdaemon, NEAR Foundation, DeSpread, Luxor, Chorus One, Kiln, Restake, and ALUM LABS.

These new Signers bring a wealth of experience and resources to the table. With billions of dollars in assets collectively, their support for Stacks speaks volumes about the leading layer 2’s potential to revolutionize Bitcoin scalability.

Stacks, being a non-federated network, has an open Signer set that includes thousands of Stackers like you contributing to consensus. And as we approach the Nakamoto rollout, your role in validating Stacks blocks becomes even more crucial.

Alongside the existing community, bringing these industry leaders on board further enhances network security and fosters greater decentralization, solidifying Stacks as a leading layer 2 solution with the needs of Bitcoin builders front and center.
“These Signers add yet another layer of decentralization and bring industry leading infrastructure to the leading Bitcoin L2 as the ecosystem seeks to unlock the Bitcoin economy and bring Bitcoin to billions of users. Together, we are poised to unlock exciting new use cases for Bitcoin.”
