Before the mainnet hard fork, these bugs will need to be addressed and then tested with a new version on the Nakamoto Testnet and then the Primary testnet. The goal is to be ready to upgrade the Primary Testnet next week and then observe it running the latest code stably for at least one week before the mainnet hardfork.
Looking at the current timeline for the Primary Testnet hard fork, Core Developers are expecting a slight adjustment to the mainnet hard fork block in order to have sufficient time for these steps. Of course, the same caveats regarding any new issues apply; a safe, secure launch will remain the priority. In the meantime, all the Core Developers are heads down over the weekend working and they plan to release an update on the hard fork details by Friday, October 4th. We’re close!
