A New Identity for the Stacks Ecosystem
Our mission is to build a user owned internet powered by the Stacks Blockchain. Today we’re excited to introduce a new visual identity that unites our work with others in the ecosystem building towards that future. Our new logo and branding now reflects a more colorful future and the foundations on the Stacks blockchain.
The time is right for a refresh. The Stacks Ecosystem has evolved far beyond it’s original roots since it started in 2014 as Blockstack PBC. The project is now a global community and ecosystem, supported by many entities, including the Stacks Foundation. Through this new brand identity system, it will now be easier to identify different entities, and for new contributors in the Stacks ecosystem to use consistent visuals.

Thank you for your help. We’re grateful for the community for their contributions and feedback along the way. It’s been a collaborative effort over the past few months with the community to establish this new brand, and we’re excited how well it captures the spirit and diversity of the ecosystem. As Blockstack PBC shared, “The Stacks blockchain and Stacks (STX) cryptocurrency are the fundamental building blocks upon which a vibrant ecosystem is growing and now we have a brand that unites it.”

Stacks Foundation New Icon
Over the coming weeks you’ll see the updates through Stacks Foundation communication and on social channels. We invite you to start using the new designs in your own channels where you highlight your work with the Stacks community. We look forward to the day the brand moves beyond a cohesive visual into a recognizable symbol of the user owned internet.
