A New Front Door for Crypto.

Crypto has arrived at Codecademy.

Let’s face it: despite momentum toward a multi-chain world in recent years, there’s still plenty of tribalism alive and well in crypto. And, while the bickering of crypto Twitter can certainly be entertaining, we believe that at the end of the day, the more people that learn the fundamentals of blockchains, the better it is for all projects and protocols.

When we partnered with Codecademy to build Clarity Camp (which has now seen hundreds of new developers learn to write smart contracts for Bitcoin), we found a team that felt the same way we did about knocking down barriers and overcoming divides in an effort to educate newcomers. So, we got cooking!

In partnership with Codecademy, we’re proudly revealing a new, completely free course for blockchain beginners: “An Introduction to Blockchain and Crypto.” The course will offer their over 45 million users (and anyone else that’s interested) a clear path to learning the basics about blockchain–no oaths or commitments to a specific protocol required!

Designed in concert with Codecademy and taking insights and input from folks across the industry, you can think of the course as a friendly front door: walk through it and begin understanding the key underlying technology and concepts as a setup for further, deeper exploration.
