As the market for Bitcoin-backed NFTs continues to mature, more creators are building with Bitcoin to secure their NFTs. In an effort to help these artists and creators grow (and in many cases, create their first NFTs), the concept of The Mintery was formed.

The Mintery is an accelerator program that aims to support artists in the process of creating their first NFT projects. Focal points in the program include helping artists generate more freedom, ownership, and success in the business of art. Creators can expect mentorship from established names in the industry, technical partners, funding, introductions and connections, and project amplification through top channels in NFTs and crypto.

The Mintery’s current community includes a diverse range of 10 artists working with various mediums. Read further to meet our artists and learn more about their projects.

Pierre Constant & Nina Constant / The Immaterial Equipment

Nina started her journey in the North of Holland and studied interior design. She started working with an international interior studio in Amsterdam. She debuted her work in a well-known Amsterdam-based international architecture office, which delivers award-winning projects in Europe. She decided to quit and focus on human-scale design pieces in order to work and explore on the highest level of detail. Pierre studied architecture and design in the South of France. He has been trained in Japan, recruited by an architecture firm, and started to experiment design with Japanese local craftsmen. Back in Europe he decided to move to Amsterdam and worked for Germans Ermics - a multiple award-winning designer.

Their NFT project, The Immaterial Equipment, is a digital furniture collection created by the designer duo (Atelier Constant). Inspired by nature, strong composition and developed with a lot of attention, this set of furniture is not a PFP collection but a new way to possess digitized pieces made by the Atelier. Their digital pieces are created with the same attention as their physical art. These pieces are an explicit confrontation between art and design. Thanks to the knowledge offered by the Mintery program, the studio decided to deliver a new experience for design lovers in order to offer the Stacks community a door to this locked world. This includes a new system of licensing design products, integration in the metaverse, international collaboration for rendering, and much more.

Collectors: The project is a premiere on the Bitcoin ecosystem and comes with plenty of utility for the holder. The mint is expected within three months - piece per piece in collaboration with STX projects and followed by specialized press.

Ward Strootman / All Natural Art

Growing up in a family of jewelers, Ward was the first in the family to show interest in gemology. After completing his Bachelor’s degree, Ward started studying gemology at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in London. Collectors: The Natural Art NFT collection is designed to enable all art enthusiasts to become art collectors with multiple ownerships of a digital art piece. This NFT collection is backed by a physical piece, which can be owned by a community through fractionalized ownership, as well as unique owners with a 1/1 NFT. These natural art pieces are all part of the first Ward Strootman collection. Collectors can own a part of every art piece in this collection. If a collector buys one of all digital images they will get an additional NFT of a render with all sculptures together.
